Skateboarding is one of the fastest-growing sports in the world, with participation climbing by over 10% every year. Now that skateboarding is an Olympic sport, its popularity has exploded, and more kids than ever are eager to learn.

For me, this became personal when my 8-year-old daughter showed a real interest in skateboarding. I taught her the basics—how to push off, balance, and get comfortable on her board—but I knew that if she really wanted to improve, she needed lessons from someone more experienced than her dad.

I started looking online for local skateboarding lessons but came up short. Most of what I found was through national referral networks that felt overpriced and disconnected from the local community. That’s when I decided to ask around, and eventually, I found Matt.

Our goal is to make it easy for families in Atlanta to connect with top-notch skateboarding instruction. Whether your child is just starting out, wants to drop into their first bowl, or even dreams of going pro, we’re here to help. Matt has coached several skaters who now compete professionally, and he’s ready to help your kids take their skills to the next level.
